Cegidfa Football Club.

We are looking forward to our third season in the Newtown Carlsberg Sunday League. We aim to give local players the chance to play for the village and to give something back to the community and are a very much family orientated club.

Cegidfa ladies Netball are also at present playing in the Guilsfield league with two sides. Donations given so far raised from the players match fees include the following:-

• Wales Air Ambulance
• Welshpool and District Asthma Society
• Guilsfield Playgroup
• Guilsfield Mother and Toddlers
• Guilsfield Cub Scouts
• Cegidfa Netball

Following the clubs AGM on May 22nd at The Oak the following trophies were presented-

• Players Player presented to Lee Andrew
• Top Goal Scorer sponsored by Howard Webster presented to Barry John Jones
• Most Man of The Match presented to Lee Andrew
• Club Member of The Year presented to Jane Nash

Carlsberg Sunday League team Secretary of the Year presented to Jane Nash at the Roger Breeze Cup Final at Latham Park, Newtown on April 24th in which Cegidfa lost to Berriew.
